Why this site exists

Most customer service directories stop at a phone number. That is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what to do when the number does not work: which deadline applies, who regulates the company, what evidence the ombudsman expects, and what remedy you can realistically ask for.

Customer Care Info maps that second half. We cover essential services — broadband, mobile, energy and water — in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. For each provider we publish contact channels, a complaint route, the relevant regulator or ombudsman, and a letter template you can adapt.

Who we are

We are a small independent editorial project. We are not a call centre, a law firm or a consumer advice charity. We do not act for providers or regulators.

Every provider listing shows where the information came from and when it was last checked. When a detail changes, we update the page and note the date.

How we make money

The site is free to use. We fund it with display advertising, currently through Google AdSense. Advertising does not influence which providers we cover, how we rank them, or what we say about them.

We do not sell placements, accept payment for a favourable listing, or hide a provider's complaint route behind a sponsored result.

What we do not do

  • We do not give legal advice.
  • We do not contact providers on your behalf.
  • We do not guarantee that a complaint will succeed.
  • We do not publish private contact details that are not already public.

Corrections

If a phone number, deadline or regulator detail is wrong, tell us through the contact page. Include the URL and, if possible, the official page that shows the correct information. We prioritise corrections that affect safety or money.

How to use the site

Start with your country, choose the service, then open your provider. Each page follows the same order: contact channels, what to do before you complain, the escalation ladder, your rights, FAQs and a letter template.
