Conclusion
Mwito Sacco Society Ltd was registered in the year 1979 under the Co-operative Societies Act Cap 490 Laws of Kenya as a limited liability society in order to mobilize savings and provide affordable credit facilities. We draw our membership from employees of Kenya Wildlife and Tourism and Kenya Marine, Fisheries Research Institute, Private companies, and individuals.
The Society started with a humble beginning, and it has grown to the current membership of more than 7,589 with an asset base of KES 2.373 Billion and a loan portfolio of KES 1.952 Billion.
