Requirements for joining Waumini Sacco
- An introduction letter from the institution (employer)
- Form duly signed by the parish priest for the Catholic faithful.
- Deductions should be done as follows:-
- Registration fee of Kshs. 500 payable once
- Share Capital of Kshs. 15,000 which can be paid in installments of Kshs. 500 monthly (this amount while non-refundable, earns dividends and is transferable upon withdrawal of membership)
- Minimum monthly deposit contribution of Kshs. 300
- Monthly Insurance Risk Fund contribution of Kshs. 50
Entrance Fees and Monthly Contribution
- Each applicant will pay a once-off nonrefundable entrance fee of Kshs. 500/=
- The Share Capital is Kshs 15,000. Which can be paid once off or in 30 installments of 500/= per month.
- The minimum Deposit contribution is Kshs. 300/=
- In addition to the above, members will be required to pay a monthly fee of Kshs. 50 towards the risk (insurance) fund

Development Loan
- A member can access only one development loan at a time
- The repayment period shall not exceed 72 months.
- The interest rate chargeable shall be 12%.
- The maximum entitlement shall be 4 times of total deposits and Shares
- Security shall comprise the guarantors and collaterals.
- Ability to pay within 2/3rd of income.
- The shares shall entitle maximum limit but will not be used to secure the loan.
